Our solution: World Chat Day.
It is a global event that anyone in any nation can take part in, as long as they have access to the internet. On World Chat Day, people on all continents log onto a platform created for the World Chat Day-initiative. Once logged in, you are randomly connected to another person at another location in the world, and you get to chat with that person for a little while. This will hopefully create more understanding across geographical and cultural distances and reduce some tension between groups of people. Google Translate is implemented to get over the language barrier.

Hyper Island
Last week I started at Hyper Island. It’s been an intense week and I had so much fun! I’m really exited to start at Digital Media at Hyper here in Karlskrona. I’ll be posting all cool stuff we’re going to do. I have a feeling that some freaking epic stuff is going to happen in these two years!
3D Music Bars

The graphic is made in Cinema 4D and edited in After Effects, then I coded the bars to animate with the music in Flash.
The music starts playing as soon as it’s downloaded. Right now you can’t control the playback or the volume. It’s only a beta so I hope you’ll survive without any controls!

If you are bored, at the same time have a Canon 5D Mark II camera home over the weekend, and if you don’t have any plans between midnight and 4:00 am, then you just might end up making a time-lapse of some ice cream!
